The Public is hereby informed that the Review Panel set up in accordance to section 19Q of the FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING ACT (FIAMLA) 2002 under the Chairmanship of former Justice G. Angoh is now operational.
Accordingly, any party who feels aggrieved by the decision of a regulatory body, defined under the FIAMLA,
(a) may, within 21 days of the decision of the regulatory body, make an application to the Review Panel for a review of that decision, specifying the reasons thereof; and
(b) shall, at the same time, forward a copy of his application by registered post to the regulatory body,
as provided for under section 19N of the FIAMLA.
All applications made as per paragraph (a) above, will have to be directed to the Secretary of the Review Panel by following the procedures laid down in the abovementioned Act.
