In the context of COVID-19, the Mauritius Fire and Rescue Service
(MFRS) wishes to inform the public of the following:
As from Monday 05 April the MFRS Customer Care Office (CCO) at its Head Office, Atalian Tower, 57 Laboudonnais Street, Port Louis will, until further notice, operate strictly as follows:
A to F – Monday and Thursday;
G to N – Tuesday and Friday; and
O to Z – Wednesday.
The MFRS CCO will be opened from 09:00 hrs to 15 00 hrs on weekdays only.
Wearing of face mask will be mandatory and physical distancing
protocols should be strictly observed within the premises of the MFRS.
Thermal Screening will be carried out at the entrance and access will be denied to those showing flu-like symptoms (high temperature, running nose or coughing).
NIC will be verified at the entrance of the building prior to allow access in the Customer Care Office.
These arrangements have been made to provide a suitable service to our stakeholders and to support the present efforts of Government to combat the spread of COVID-19.
The MFRS makes a special appeal to the public for their full collaboration and for strict compliance with the above-mentioned arrangements.
