Further to Cabinet Decision of 19-Mar-2021 the DBM wishes to inform SMEs that it is operating the following Loan Schemes:
1) SME Interest-Free Loan Scheme of Rs 100,000 for SMEs with turnover not exceeding Rs50 Million and who have paid the Contribution Sociale Généralisée (CSG) in respect of all their employees. The loan is repayable over a period of 8 years including a moratorium of 5 years on repayment.
2) COVID-19 Special Support Scheme whereby SMEs, with turnover not exceeding Rs50 Million and who have paid the Contribution Sociale Généralisée (CSG) in respect of all their employees, would be able to apply for unsecured loans of up to Rs1 Million at an interest rate of 0.5 percent per annum with a moratorium of 1 year on payment of capital and interest.
