The public is hereby informed that due to major works on the Motorway M1 in the region of Victoria Urban Terminal, both the Northbound and Southbound carriageways will be closed to traffic as per the following schedule:
As from Saturday 05 June 2021 to Sunday 20 June 2021 (from 20 00 hours to 05 00 hours in the morning)
The following traffic diversions will be put in place:
(i) traffic proceeding to Caudan Waterfront from the South will continue to use the slip lane at Caudan interchange;
(ii) all Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Decaen flyover bridge to proceed towards the North through John Kennedy Street/Place D’Armes; and
(iii) all Southbound traffic will be diverted at Place D’Armes, towards La Chaussée Street, Orleans Street, Deschartres Street to eventually proceed to the Motorway M1.
Traffic signs will be put in place to inform and guide road users and Police assistance will be provided.
Drivers are advised to be cautious when approaching the area.
